In December we launched a search on social media for a newbie allotment holder to become our first NG Allotment Apprentice. After lots of fabulous applications, we decided our apprentice for 2022 would be Massimo (Max).

Max runs supper-clubs and foodie pop ups in his local area, and is keen to start growing his own food using organic methods. He is taking over part of a shared plot in Acton, London and hopes to create the perfect kitchen garden.

We are looking forward to following and supporting Max during his organic growing journey, and also seeing what he cooks up with his harvests. Keep an eye on our news feed and social media for updates on his progress, and we look forward to sharing some of his delicious recipes with you!
