Natural Grower Compost can be spread over vegetable beds, flower beds and borders as a mulch.
As the compost becomes incorporated into the soil, it adds valuable organic matter and helps improve the long-term structure of your soil.

Can I use Natural Grower Compost for seeds and young seedlings?
Yes. If you are using the compost for sowing seeds or planting very young seedlings, we recommend mixing it approximately 50:50 with soil, sand or coir.
This helps retain moisture in shallow seed trays while creating a more aerated growing medium for germination and delicate developing roots.
When your seedlings are ready to pot on, mix some of our Plant Feed & Soil Improver into the compost to provide slow-release nutrients as the plants establish.
Do plants growing in compost need feeding?
Plants growing in containers will gradually use the nutrients available in their compost.
During the growing season, you can supplement them with our Natural Liquid Fertiliser to provide additional nutrients as plants grow, flower and crop.

Yes. Natural Grower Compost is 100% peat-free.
It provides a natural alternative to peat-based growing media and is suitable for a wide variety of vegetables, flowers and other garden plants.

Delivery to mainland UK is calculated at checkout. For all other areas and large orders please ask for a quote. Orders will be sent by express next day delivery (DPD). They will be dispatched on a next working day service, with the exception of Ireland where it may take two days. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery in the UK as the couriers may have already been and collected on the day you send your order in. Smaller orders for pouches, pockets, bags and pots may be sent via Royal Mail delivery. Please ensure you supply an email address and a mobile so you can be updated about your delivery. I bought 2 bags of your organic compost to sow my spring seeds and nothing grew - not one seedling - after 2 months in a greenhouse - it was as though the compost was sterile - I wondered if there was something wrong with the batch? My neighbour also bought the same compost and she had a similar experience.
After replanting, the plant started to grow greener and healthier.
If I was a plant I'd love to be planted in this compost - it's delicious! A pleasure to work with - no horrible lumps or anything that shouldn't be there. I will definitely buy it again

Great quality compost, good fine texture with no large woody bits as common in some sustainable composts. Has made a very good indoor compost plants seem very happy in.
I've used this compost for the first time this year and really liked it. Lovely crumbly texture without the big lumps, sticks and stones you get in some compost. Things seemed to grow quite while, but I hope I'll get a better idea this year.

I'm no expert, but it seems like dark, nutrient-rich soil. I mostly use this brand because it's vegan, but I also like how smooth and even it is. I like that it's produced in the UK by a UK business, and it seems like a really good price for the quality.

Be a smarter gardener
Gardening organically is a more affordable and long term alternative to using chemical fertilisers. Natural Grower products eliminate waste because the nutrients are slowly released to the plants as they need them.
