Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver is an Approved Organic, slow-release plant feed and soil improver for vegetables, fruit, flowers, roses, trees, pots, containers and hanging baskets.
Mixed into soil or compost before planting, added directly to the planting hole, or applied to the surface as a mulch or top dressing, it provides slow-release nutrients while adding organic matter and improving the structure of your soil.

How does Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver work?
Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, together with other trace elements. Once incorporated into the soil, it is gradually broken down by the organisms living there. This provides plants with a long-term, slow release of nutrients while adding valuable organic matter to the soil. Rather than simply feeding your plants, it also helps create a healthier growing environment by supporting the natural processes taking place within your soil.
How much Plant Feed & Soil Improver should I use?
There are three simple ways to use Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver:
When planting: Add approximately two handfuls directly into the planting hole before planting.
As a mulch or top dressing: Spread a 1–2 inch layer over the surface of your soil or compost around established plants.
Mixed into soil or compost: Mix 1 part Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver with 5 parts soil or compost before planting.

When is the best time to apply Plant Feed & Soil Improver?
Spring and Autumn are both excellent times to apply Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver.
In Spring, add it to beds, borders, pots and planting holes to provide slow-release nutrients and organic matter as plants begin their main growing season.
In Autumn, spread it over the soil around established plants as a mulch or top dressing. Earthworms and other soil organisms will gradually work the organic matter into the soil over autumn and winter, helping to improve the soil ready for spring.
A 1–2 inch layer can also help retain moisture, protect the soil surface and suppress weeds throughout the year.
Can I mix it with compost?
Yes. Mix 1 part Natural Grower Plant Feed & Soil Improver with 5 parts compost or soil when planting or potting on. This adds organic matter and provides a source of slow-release nutrients as plants establish and grow. It works particularly well alongside our Natural Grower Peat-Free Multi-Purpose Compost. For additional feeding during the growing season, use our Natural Liquid Fertiliser.

Delivery to mainland UK is calculated at checkout. For all other areas and large orders please ask for a quote. Orders will be sent by express next day delivery (DPD). They will be dispatched on a next working day service, with the exception of Ireland where it may take two days. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery in the UK as the couriers may have already been and collected on the day you send your order in. Smaller orders for pouches, pockets, bags and pots may be sent via Royal Mail delivery. Please ensure you supply an email address and a mobile so you can be updated about your delivery. If you are not completely happy with any product that you have ordered from us, you may return it to us in its original condition any time within 14 calendar days from the date of dispatch. Products must be returned in their original condition. Please contact us at sales@naturalgrower.co.uk to arrange a return. If you return a product by post, you will need to pay the costs of returning the product to us and obtain proof of posting.
