If you are using the compost to sow seeds or plant young seedlings, we recommend you sieve the compost and add some soil or some of our soil conditioner. This will help to aerate the compost for the seeds to germinate and the delicate roots to develop, and the soil conditioner will provide the nutrients that the seedlings need as they become established.
