How do I use the three products together?
1. Start with Natural Grower Peat-Free Compost
Use our peat-free multi-purpose compost when planting vegetables, flowers, established seedlings, pots and containers. For sowing seeds or planting very young seedlings, mix the compost approximately 50:50 with soil, sand or coir to help retain moisture while providing aeration for germination and delicate developing roots.
2. Add Plant Feed & Soil Improver
For slow-release feeding and soil improvement, add approximately two handfuls to the planting hole, spread a 1–2 inch layer as a mulch or top dressing, or mix 1 part Plant Feed & Soil Improver with 5 parts soil or compost. It adds organic matter while providing slow-release nutrients as plants establish and grow.
3. Feed weekly with Natural Liquid Fertiliser
During the growing season, dilute 100ml (2 capfuls) of Natural Grower Liquid Fertiliser in 5 litres of water and apply around the base of your plants once a week. The same dilution rate can be used for indoor and outdoor plants. The 2L bottle makes up to 100 litres of diluted plant feed at the recommended rate.

Why use compost, slow-release feed and liquid fertiliser together?
Each product performs a different role in your growing routine. Natural Grower Peat-Free Compost provides the growing medium, while Plant Feed & Soil Improver adds organic matter and slow-release nutrients to the soil. During the growing season, Natural Liquid Fertiliser provides readily available nutrients through regular weekly feeding.
Using the three products together gives plants support from planting and establishment through to active growth, flowering and fruiting.
What are the NPK values?
Plant Feed & Soil Improver: NPK 4.1-2.2-3 – a slow-release source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium together with trace elements.
Natural Liquid Fertiliser: NPK 3.6-1.5-3.7 – a concentrated liquid feed providing nitrogen for growth, phosphorus for root development and potassium to support flowering and fruiting.
When should I use this growing bundle?
Use the compost and Plant Feed & Soil Improver when planting and potting on. Plant Feed & Soil Improver is particularly useful in spring and autumn for feeding plants, adding organic matter and improving soil.
Use the Liquid Fertiliser weekly throughout the growing season when plants are actively growing, flowering and fruiting.
Is the Natural Grower bundle suitable for organic and vegan gardening?
Yes. All three Natural Grower products in this bundle are Approved Organic by the Soil Association. Delivery to mainland UK is calculated at checkout. For all other areas and large orders please ask for a quote. Orders will be sent by express next day delivery (DPD). They will be dispatched on a next working day service, with the exception of Ireland where it may take two days. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery in the UK as the couriers may have already been and collected on the day you send your order in. Smaller orders for pouches, pockets, bags and pots may be sent via Royal Mail delivery. Please ensure you supply an email address and a mobile so you can be updated about your delivery. If you are not completely happy with any product that you have ordered from us, you may return it to us in its original condition any time within 14 calendar days from the date of dispatch. Products must be returned in their original condition. Please contact us at sales@naturalgrower.co.uk to arrange a return. If you return a product by post, you will need to pay the costs of returning the product to us and obtain proof of posting.
