Hello and a big welcome to Natural Grower!

I am Charlotte Beaty. I launched Natural Grower in 2019, and I run the business on my own with support from my husband (making conveyors and hoppers and anything else practical that I need him to make), my two young sons, and constant companionship from Sky my dog.

Our family has been farming at Nevill Holt for over 50 years – originally operating as a dairy unit before diversifying into arable crops. We invested in a renewable energy plant – an anaerobic digester that is fed with non-gmo maize grown on the farm. We discovered that one of the process’s by-products was a nutrient-rich organic fertiliser that could be used to fertilise our arable crops.

This opened our minds to the possibilities and benefits of replacing chemical fertilisers on our land, and we soon saw outstanding results in our farm crops, garden vegetables, flowers and houseplants. As my garden plants and houseplants took off, I wanted to share this success with other keen gardeners looking for an effective, organic solution.

I am proud to say that all of our garden compost and fertiliser products are Approved Organic by the Soil Association as well as Approved Organic and BioDynamic by the BioDynamic Association. The products are also certified Vegan by the Vegan Society.

From the very start of launching the company I wanted to make sure that all our products were accredited organic and fully traceable. I want my customers to be 100% confident that they are buying and using quality products, that are manufactured here in the UK in Leicestershire.
